THIS IS WHERE IT BEGAN

THE PULL UP PARK JAM IS THE LARGEST AND LONGEST-RUNNING CALISTHENICS COMPETITION IN THE WORLD.  FOUNDED IN BROOKLYN, NEW YORK CITY IN 1998 BY RAY FUNN AND KEITH FIELDS, IT OPERATED AS A NON-PROFIT UNDER THE DIRECTION OF RODNEY "REDD" HARRISON IN NEW YORK CITY.  THE PULL UP PARK JAM IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A DEMONSTRATION THAT EVERYONE CAN ENHANCE THEIR HEALTH AND COMMUNITY, AND COMPETE WITH THE WORLD'S MOST ELITE CALISTHENICS ATHLETES IN THE FREEDOM OF THEIR NEIGHBORHOOD PARK.  THE PULL UP PARK JAM EXPANDED TO CHICAGO IN 2015 UNDER THE DIRECTION OF OMARI JINAKI, WHICH, THANKS TO COMPETITORS FROM NEW STATES AND NEW COUNTRIES, HAS BECOME THE SECOND-LARGEST CALISTHENICS COMPETITION IN THE UNITED STATES, SECOND ONLY TO NEW YORK CITY.  NO STOPPING US NOW.  THIS IS WHERE IT BEGINS.
